Our School
Located in downtown Prescott, Arizona, Mountain Oak School is a public charter school that is run by a community of people who are committed to the principles of Waldorf education. We have found that this time-tested teaching style provides our students with a well-rounded academic education, while cultivating creativity, human values, self-determination and responsibility.
Main subject areas include: writing, reading, math, music, arts, geography and history. Special subject teachers supplement main lessons with: foreign languages; physical education; handwork (knitting, sewing, needlework); gardening; baking and cooking; woodworking; singing; music theory and performance; martial arts; and other areas.
