Mountain Oak School

The next Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11 at 3:30 p.m.

A wonderful way to learn about your school is to come to the Board meetings! Yes, it's true! You'd be amazed at what good work, healthful communication, and whole heartedness happens when a group of like-minded people come together to make MOS a great school. Come and witness this exciting process.

Board of Directors

The Mountain Oak Board of Directors is responsible for the fiscal and legal oversight of the school. There are between five and eleven members.

Meeting Times and Places

Board meetings are now being held at 3:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month through June 2010, in the office. Times and days for Special Sessions are also posted there. When attendance is large, we move to a larger room. Look for a notice on the office door. The agenda is posted on the bulletin board outside the office at least 24 hours before the meeting. Minutes are available in a binder in the office. All meetings are public. Everyone is welcome to come and we are glad to have you. Because we spend public money, we are governed by what is known as “Open Meeting Law.” This is a complex set of rules that don’t always seem to make common sense. Feel free to ask questions of any Board Member about this or any other concern you have. We are here to serve the school.

We are always looking for people willing to serve as Board members. Please contact us if you are interested, and please come to meetings!
