Attendance Policy:
Please call the MOS office as soon as possible to notify the school of any absence or arrival after 9:30am for the grades, and 8:50am for Kindergarten. Any student arriving after these times must be signed in by a parent/guardian. If your child is to leave early, please come to the office to sign out, and a staff member will bring him/her to the office.

Kindergarten: Regular Hours - M-F: 8:15-12:00
Will be considered absent a full day if student arrives after 8:50am, or leaves before 11:30am. Parents must bring their tardy child to the office for a late pass, and then accompany their child to the kindergarten classroom.

Grades: Regular Hours - M,T,TH,F: 8:15-2:45
(Middle School out at 3:00pm)
W: 8:15-12:30
(Middle School starts early release on 1/09/08)

Student will be considered absent a full day if he/she misses more than
3.25 hours in a school day.

Student will be considered absent a half-day if they arrive after 9:30am or leave before 1:30pm.

Student is allowed to leave class for appointments for up to 1.25 hours without any absence.

Before and After School Policy:
Playground opens at 7:45am. Students may not arrive prior to this time. Students who have not been picked up by 3:00pm will be taken to Aftercare. All paperwork must be on file with the Aftercare Director before they will be allowed to attend. Please make all Aftercare arrangements with the Director.

Additional Days - School closure or 2 hour delay during inclement weather is in alignment with Prescott Unified School District (PUSD) determination of safe driving conditions. Call MOS after 6:00am for an up to date recording of school cancellation or delay, or check the PUSD website after 5:45am, at www.prescott.k12.az.us “snow day info”. Local radio stations may also announce delays and school closures.
